Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions MUST be read before commencing any of your class bookings at the Feelin’ Peachy studio. This is for your own safety, and so that you have full knowledge of the various terms that may impact your conduct and behaviour at the studio.
Safety & Hygiene
Before commencing classes, you must fill in a waiver and a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q).
Throughout the course of your membership with the studio, regular health and medical screening should be sought from your General Practitioner. Studio users are advised to inform the instructor of any injuries, pains or concerns prior to the class starting. If a new injury or concern arises during your time at the studio, it is essential you seek proper medical advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or other professional before continuing your classes.
If you are pregnant we cannot teach you for insurance and health and safety reasons.
No alcohol or drug use is permitted before or during class, and those who are deemed to be under the influence will be removed from class without a refund.
It is necessary that all members and guests of the studio wear appropriate, clean attire.
Members must be no more than 5-10 minutes late to class. Anyone who arrives any more than 5 minutes late may be denied entry and will not receive a refund. It is not safe to miss the warm up, and your instructor will not have time to catch you up without disrupting the rest of your class.
If you feel dizzy, faint, unwell or feel any unusual pain then you must stop exercising and inform your instructor immediately.
In the interest of hygiene the equipment should be wiped down during and after classes, cleaning supplies are available from the studio including cloths.
No lotions, fake tans, or any body oils are to be used for at least 24 hours before your pole class. If these are used, it is important to take a shower with soap before you class to remove any traces from your skin. This is for the safety of you and your fellow students.
Remove any jewelry from your hands, wrists, and ankles before going on the poles. This is to prevent the pole from being damaged or scratched, which can make the surface uneven or scratchy, and dangerous to use.
Pole grip – Dry hands and itac may be used on the chrome poles, no grips that are not specific to pole. Dry hands ONLY on the brass poles, no itac or other grips to be used on the brass poles.
Members wishing to report on accidents, incidents, or problems with services at the studio should contact Peach, the studio owner, either in person or via email pe*********@gm***.com – any information shared during this process will be confidential.
Behavioural Etiquette
Members will listen to their instructor and follow the instructions provided to them. If the member, or a fellow student, is struggling, you will ask for the help of your instructor – it is important to NOT teach or attempt to teach if you are not a trained and insured instructor. Pole dancing is a potentially very dangerous sport if practiced improperly, and accidents can result in paralysis and death. Therefore, safety and attention to your instructor are essential at all times.
Members will not attempt moves that their instructor has not demonstrated to them or that are not on the class plan that day. You will not teach new moves to other students because you put them at risk. It is natural to be enthusiastic and to want to show people things, but do so with safety in mind and run everything past your instructor.
Members will treat their instructor and fellow students with respect, kindness and courtesy. Members who do not, or who are rude, disruptive or bullying, can lose their membership and will be denied entry from the studio.
We encourage you to take photos and videos to record your progress. However, please ensure you have the permission of your instructor and fellow students before photographing or filming in the studio. The instructor will often offer a small 5 minute period at the end of your class and before your cool down to allow you to take videos and photos. We request that the studio is tagged in these posts, and we will request permission to share videos and photos on our social media pages with the student’s permission.
The Feelin’ Peachy studio reserves the right to deny membership or entry to anyone for any reason. In the event of a breach of membership rules and regulations the studio reserves the right of admission and may reserve the right to require any member or guest to leave the premises. Any member found in breach of rules or committing an illegal act, including theft, will be asked to permanently leave the studio and be barred from ever entering the studio again.
Classes, Membership, & Booking
Classes are booked in 4 week blocks in advance, usually at the end of each month for classes commencing the first week of the next month. It is essential to book your space, as these are NOT drop in classes and numbers are limited.
Payment is processed for the full amount, and once a course has commenced no refunds or transfers can be offered. If there is an emergency or you are otherwise unable to attend one of your classes, inform Peach with 48 hours notice and she can offer you a replacement session via a drop in (this will not be a taught session).
For pay-as-u-go sessions, no refunds or transfers are offered unless 48 hours notice is given for cancellations. This is so that the space can be offered to someone else on the waiting list.
For 1-2-1 private sessions, no refunds are offered unless 48 hours notice is given or cancellations. Missed appointments are non-transferable and non-refundable.
All memberships are Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable.
All members must be 18 or over.
We endeavor to keep our pole tricks & technique classes limited to 2 people per pole, although we may sometimes have 3 to a pole if any of the equipment needs maintenance or for safety concerns. We endeavor to keep our heels and ‘pole for your soul’ classes to 1 person per pole, although we may sometimes have 2 to a pole if any equipment needs maintenance or for safety.
In case of bad weather conditions, such as snow or storms, where the studio has to be closed, we will offer ‘catch up’ classes at a convenient time.
